In this post, you’ll find some of the best places to stay in the Badlands hotels, motels, and yurts in Drumheller.

All of them are located close to the town centre with the exception of Bridgeview Hideaway – but at the end of the day, everything is close by in Drumheller.

One thing we love about Drumheller is that even though it’s a small town, there are still some great options for places to stay!

You can experience an awesome glamping experience in the countryside next to some coulees or you can stay right in town at one of the big hotels.

Most people think Drumheller is just a place to visit for a day trip but boy are they wrong!

Give yourself at least a few nights here to explore all the different activities, hikes (Horseshoe Canyon), restaurants, and even concerts during the summer! We spent 4 days in Drumheller and we’ll definitely be back for more…

Heartwood Inn is one of the most unique and beautiful hotels in Drumheller. Each room is designed in its own way with a beautiful boutique feel to it! 

If you’re looking for a little couples getaway to Drumheller then this is perfect. During the day you can explore the Atlas Coal Mine, kayak down the Red Deer River, or just explore the town. 

Once you’re ready to come back to the hotel for the day you can book a massage or spa treatment at the Heartwood Inn before relaxing for the rest of the evening! 

Each room is designed in a magical way and it makes for an awesome experience here in the Badlands!

Bridgeviews might be our favourite place to stay in Drumheller!

It really isn’t a hotel at all but it is such a cool place to stay near Drumheller it has to be on this list. We stayed at Bridgeviews for 3 nights and loved our stay there.

It’s only been around for a few years but Bridgeviews has grown in popularity like crazy since its start.

The fact you can stay in a beautiful yurt surrounded by incredible landscapes just 15 minutes from town is definitely not something you’ll see often.

While the yurts are located on a campsite, there are still great facilities.

There are proper toilets and showers and a greenhouse where you can go grab a coffee, charge your phone, read a book, play some games, or get some work done if you want. 

Even though it’s in the countryside there is free wifi in case you do need it and it works pretty well!

The Quality Hotel in Drumheller is a pretty standard hotel in town that’s located conveniently near downtown Drumheller and Newcastle Beach (where you can kayak from).

This hotel in Drumheller is your more typical styled hotel with all the basics you need from comfy beds to clean rooms where you know exactly what you’re going to get!

It’s great if you’re looking for a quality hotel for a couple’s trip to Drumheller or a family getaway.

You know exactly what you’re walking into at Quality Hotel Drumheller. For a night or weekend stay it has everything you need!

Canalta Jurassic is located on the outskirts of Drumheller just a short drive from the town centre.
It’s a great hotel that has all the amenities you need from a hotel – and a nice, hot breakfast!

The rooms are big and cozy and perfect if you want a good night’s sleep before heading out to town to enjoy all the things to do in Drumheller (we definitely recommend an E-bike tour or rafting down Red Deer River).

If you’re looking for a smaller hotel that is a little more quiet and cozy, we’re sure you’ll have a great time staying at Canalta!

SureStay Plus is another chain hotel that’s connected to the Best Western chain. There’s quite a few chain hotels in Drumheller and that means, you know you’ll get a good quality hotel when staying there.

SureStay Plus offers a good continental breakfast, comfy beds, and a decent-sized pool! 

When you’re in Drumheller you’re most likely going to be out visiting the Tyrell Museum, hiking in the coulees by Horseshoe Canyon, and exploring Atlas Coal Mine. 

But when you do want to go back and relax at your place SureStay’s is a great hotel for that. It has everything you need for a comfortable few nights in Drumheller!

Ramada is a well-known hotel chain in Canada and you can find their hotels all around the country. It’s by no means a fancy hotel but it’s a nice and affordable one. 

It’s also a great place to stay if you’re looking to visit The Royal Tyrrell Museum, try out delicious restaurants in Drumheller, and all the other fun things you can do in the area! (There’s a lot!)

If you’re a couple or a family, it’s a great place to stay. For the price, you can’t go wrong with the Ramada by Wyndham!
