5 Travel Conferences Not to Miss in 2025-2026
One of the best ways to grow as a content creator and digital nomad is by surrounding yourself with like-minded people.
It’s why we love hosting Pop Up Colivings and joining events where we get a chance to connect with people who love this lifestyle too!
Especially in today’s world, where things feel like they’re changing all the time, there are constantly things to learn, and opportunities to grow everywhere.
Conferences are an incredible way to stay inspired, learn new skills, and make connections that could turn into something special down the road.
This has definitely happened to us multiple times when we’ve been at conferences. We’ve met some of our best friends at these, and in the weirdest ways, like standing in line for the bus to an event.
In this post, we share five awesome conferences happening over the next year for bloggers, creators, and digital nomads.

5 travel conferences that should be on your radar
1. Bansko Nomad Fest

Next Event: June 20 – 30, 2026
Where: Bansko, Bulgaria
We have been coming to Bansko for the past 5 years and the Bansko Nomad Fest for the past four.
We actually started out as volunteers at this festival, meeting like-minded people, learning from experts in the space, and just having a good ol’ time at a bunch of the events.
Set in a beautiful mountain town in Bulgaria, Bansko Nomad Fest has become one of the biggest nomad fests in the world. It combines inspiring talks from experts with the most random but awesome unconferences imaginable.
These unconferences give 100 attendees the chance to share ideas, offer additional tips, and connect even further with others outside of the more traditional speaker events.
Between all that, there are plenty of fun events where you can really connect and get to know other nomads. It’s a place where awesome business ideas come up while having a conversation with someone in a sauna or on a hike.
One thing we can’t preach enough is that you shouldn’t come just for the festival. There are great coworking spaces in town, and there’s a full-on community here in Bansko. We spend most of our summers here, and it’s an awesome place to spend anywhere from a few weeks to a few months.
We have a full section of our website dedicated to Bansko because that’s how much we love it. If you need help getting from Sofia to the festival, check out this blog post on how to get from Sofia to Bansko.
We also have some delicious restaurants in town that we recommend, hotels in Bansko, and even the best spas in the area.

If you’re looking to level up your digital marketing game, DigiMarCon Florida is a great place to start.
This event brings together marketers, entrepreneurs, and content creators from around the world to share the latest in SEO, content strategy, email marketing, and more.
This is a more high-end conference with some big names from companies like LinkedIn and Amazon speaking, which can seem a little overwhelming, but the amount of interesting and cool people you can meet at this event is unmatched.
Some people go just to network at the event, and others go to listen to the industry leaders’ talks and gain knowledge from them.
Another thing about DigiMarCon is that it’s an awesome venue to explore before or after the conference.
If you’re flying into Florida for DigiMarCon and you plan to leave the venue, having your own car to explore will make things much easier.
We recommend checking out these trusted car rental providers in Orlando for reliable car rentals in the area.
It’s one thing we always try to do when going to conferences, so we can spend a few days exploring the surrounding area or finding some awesome bucketlist spots that aren’t too far away from the conference.
Places like Devil’s Den and some of the beautiful Florida Springs are just over an hour away from Orlando. Devil’s Den is an awesome cave that has an underground spring running through it!
3. TBEX (Travel Blog Exchange)

Next Event: September 9 – 12, 2025
Where: Donegal, Ireland
TBEX is one of the longest-running conferences for bloggers and travel creators.
Every year, this event takes place in different cities around the world, with upcoming ones in Donegal (Ireland), Wichita (Kansas), and Kazakhstan!
When we’re lucky enough for it to fit into our schedules, we always try to attend a TBEX conference.
You’ll find everything from workshops on affiliate marketing to sessions on pitching to tourism boards. It’s especially useful if you’re looking to turn your blog into a business and want to meet other creators on a similar journey.
It’s also a great place for networking. I remember being in San Sebastian, Spain, for their European conference in 2024, and there were tons of networking opportunities.
Tourism boards from all over the world were there, travel brands, and other travel-related companies. We were even able to meet some of our blog partners face to face for the first time at the event which was super fun!
The beauty of TBEX is that they have multiple conferences a year all around the world. So there’s a chance you might be able to make it to one of their events. The next event will be held in Europe in beautiful Ireland.
Sadly, we already have plans this September, but we really hope to make it to one next year, either Asia 2026 or Europe 2026!
Depending on which conference you’re going to, we can highly recommend grabbing an eSIM if you haven’t used one before.
In Europe, we’re completely covered with our traditional phone plans, but when we go to Asia or back to Oceania, we download eSIMs to have coverage right away.
It’s easily the best way to always stay connected when you travel to places where your phone plan doesn’t work.
4. Traverse Events

Next Event: July 15 – 16, 2025 (multiple annual events)
Where: London, UK
Traverse hosts a bunch of different creator conferences and networking events (mainly across Europe), with past editions in places like Mallorca, Brno, and Trentino.
The vibe is laid-back but professional, and it draws a wide mix of influencers, bloggers, and creators from Europe and North America.
Traverse is probably one of our favourite travel conferences because it has such a strong focus on the European market and how bloggers from Europe (like Dom & I) can create a successful and profitable creator business.
In case you’re not in the blogging industry, you might not know this, but generally speaking, the North American market (especially in the US) is by far the best one to be in as a content creator and travel blogger.
That doesn’t mean you can’t make it as a European creator, though – and that’s another reason why Traverse is so helpful!
Another fun thing about Traverse is how many pre-activities are included in the ticket price. When we went to Traverse in Brno in 2022, we had 2 daily activities for 3-4 days leading up to the conference. It was awesome!
5. Nomad Island Fest

Next Event: December 4 – 10, 2025
Where: Madeira, Portugal
The Nomad Island Fest brings together a “smaller” group of remote professionals and entrepreneurs for a week-long retreat that mixes professional development with play and personal growth.
This event is packed with masterminds, daily fitness sessions, networking dinners, and so much more. They offer a basic pass and a premium pass, so depending on which one you get, there’ll be a ton more included!
This year is the 5th annual fest, and we know a bunch of the speakers, so if you decide to go, you’re in for a great time!
The next edition takes place in Madeira (one of our favourite places) and we think it’s going to be pretty amazing!

Recap of 5 fun digital nomad festivals and conferences
All 5 of these conferences and festivals are quite unique in their own way. Some of them, like Bansko Nomad Fest, are in the same location year over year, and people come back for the friends, familiarity, and simply love for Bansko.
While others like TBEX and DigiMarCon move around to different continents and destinations, which is awesome because you then have a chance to explore new places you maybe wouldn’t go to otherwise.
For us, it’s about the people we meet along the way, the connections and friends we make at these events, and of course, the knowledge we gain from being surrounded by like-minded people.
Who knows, maybe we’ll see you at one of these events in the future!
If you have any questions about any of these events, feel free to reach out. You can always get a hold of us on Instagram @redwhiteadventures or leave a comment on this post, and we’ll get back to you.
We’ve personally attended most of these conferences, and the few that we haven’t attended have been highly recommended to us.
Also, if there are any conferences you’ve been to and want to recommend to us, we’d love to hear about them either in the comments or DM us on Instagram!
