Hotel Atlantis in Brno is one of the most recognized wellness spas in the city. Brno is a stunning city with amazing coffee shops, delicious restaurants, and also some really great wellness and spa hotels.
This hotel is located in the countryside only a few kilometres from Brno and makes for the perfect location in the quiet Czech nature.
One thing that really made Hotel Atlantis stand out for us was the variety of pools and saunas they have at their spa. From steam baths to an outside spa to Finnish saunas there’s something everyone will love at this amazing spa hotel.
When you need to cool off you can either go for a dip in one of their whirlpools or outdoor pools. We love the fact that the wellness is connected to the hotel so you don’t have to go far at all. You can just walk from your room to the other part of the building where the spa is located.
If you’re feeling like treating yourself to a massage or a beauty treatment you can also book one of the services with a staff member!
Hotel Atlantis is one of the best wellness spas in Brno and a great place to stay for a night or two if you want to visit Brno.

This has to be one of our favourite spa hotels in the Czech Republic! Stramberk is located in a small village near Ostrava that not too many people know about. Stramberk is a fun town to explore and walk around but the highlight has to be this spa hotel.
The town is located at the foothill of the Beskid Mountains and all around the town you can find rolling hills and amazing views (you’ll see from the relaxing room in the spa).
The Stramberk Spa Hotel has a hotel and spa connected together. For all the spa services you will have to pay on top of the price of the room. Prices range from 150 CZK-1000 CZK ($7-$45) depending on what service you’re looking for. They have beer baths, massages, manicures and pedicures, and other spa treatments.
We can highly recommend the beer bath! It’s something you have to try at least once while you’re in the Czech Republic. Czech is famous for their beer and there’s nothing more Czech than sitting in a bathtub full of hot water and hops while sipping on cold Czech beer straight from the tap next to you.
Once you’re done in the beer spa you have about an hour in the relaxation room and that’s another highlight of the whole spa experience. It’s a cozy and quiet little room where you get to just relax and drink beer. The view from the windows is absolutely amazing. A highlight of Stramberk for sure!
Stramberk is definitely considered off-the-beaten-path in Czech terms! If you want something unique and truly visit an awesome place in North Moravia, this spa hotel in Stramberk is one to visit!

This is one of the coolest hotels in Prague! This historic location is in the heart of the city and next to St-Agnes Monastery. All 32 newly renovated rooms have been a part of St-Agnes Monastery since the 13th century and are all unique in their own way.
Now let’s get to the fun stuff though! The monastery has a garden where the spa is located. You’ll find a sauna, a whirlpool tub, and a relaxation area. And even though you’re in the heart of Prague, the capital city of the Czech Republic packed with tourists, you don’t even feel the business of the city while you’re relaxing in the monastery garden.
In a way, you’re isolated between these ancient walls that make up St-Agnes Monastery. So you’re in the middle of everything but at the same time in your own little private spa hotel in the heart of Prague.
We do tend to recommend more remote and off-the-beaten-path spa hotels in the Czech Republic but when it comes to Prague Monastery Garden Spa Hotel, it’s just perfect. You don’t even need to leave the city to have a peaceful and relaxing time and that’s what spa hotels are all about.

This is the second spa hotel in Karlovy Vary that made our list. The city is known for its spa hotels so there can’t just be one to recommend! Spa Hotel Thermal is probably one of the most recognized spa hotels in the Czech Republic because of its sheer size.
This is definitely not one of those small family-owned 10-bedroom spa hotels. What it is instead is a beautiful spa hotel located in the heart of Karlovy Vary with some of the best spas in the country.
The hotel has a huge indoor and outdoor pool that you can swim in. Then you can make your way to the Finnish Sauna, steam bath, or hot tub when you’re ready to relax. Because of its sheer size, it never feels that crowded, especially because there are so many things to do at the spa at Spa Hotel Thermal in Karlovy Vary.
You really don’t need to leave the hotel while you’re in Karlovy Vary because you can get basically anything you want here from a massage and therapeutic treatments to food at the delicious restaurant. You can really make it a relaxing weekend with no stress at this awesome spa hotel.

If there’s one thing to know about the Czech Republic it’s that the country has an abundance of castles and chateaus!
